TRAINING FOR AN
AMAZING
OUT-OF-HOSPITAL BIRTH
If you are planning to have your baby at home or at a freestanding birth center, this class will give you the nuts and bolts of labor. Learn what happens before, during, and after a homebirth, as well as variations of labor. Topics include setting up your birth space, water birth, comfort measures for labor, positioning for labor and pushing, Top Ten Tools for Dads for how to best support their partner, relaxation techniques, and much more! Workbook included. Class time 10 hours, typically broken up into four 2.5 hour sessions.
Available online and in person.
Tuesdays from 6:00-8:15.

$195 per couple.
Things to bring to class:
-Exercise mat
-birth ball
-2 pillows
-Out-Of-Hospital Workbook (issued on first day of class)
-Wear comfy clothes
-Snacks and drinks
Class Minimum Policy: Classes are designed for group participation. If only one couple is registered or present, the class may be canceled. In some cases, the instructor may offer the option to continue as a private session for an additional $50 fee.
Birth Boot Camp Instructor, Cristi Wean, has had 4 out-of-hospital births of her own (2 free standing birth center births and 2 home births) so this is a topic she is passionate about teaching! Don’t hesitate to reach out if you have any questions or for information about local homebirth options!
